Nasal septal splints (usually made of sterile Teflon™ sheeting)

keep the septum and nose straight while it heals in its new shape.

Splints are removed 7  days after surgery.

This process is very simple and involves no discomfort .

Postoperative cares. Medical treatments.

for at least one month after surgery .

Contact lenses may be inserted the day after surgery,

if no eyelid surgery was performed.

On your second postoperative day,

you are encouraged to be up and around the house
